The Victron BatteryProtect 12/24V–65A is an intelligent load disconnect device designed to protect batteries from deep discharge and overvoltage while ensuring safe operation for sensitive electronics. Compatible with lead-acid and Li-ion batteries, it is ideal for automotive, marine, and off-grid applications.

Product Features:

  • 12/24V Auto Ranging: Automatically detects system voltage for hassle-free installation.
  • Easy Programming: Allows selection of various engage/disengage voltages, displayed via a built-in seven-segment indicator.
  • Li-ion Battery Compatibility: Includes a special setting for use with VE.Bus BMS; can also act as a charge interrupter between a charger and a Li-ion battery.
  • Ultra Low Current Consumption: Minimizes power draw—especially important for Li-ion batteries after low voltage shutdown.
  • Over Voltage Protection: Automatically disconnects the load if voltage exceeds 16V (12V systems) or 32V (24V systems) to protect sensitive electronics.
  • Ignition Proof: Uses MOSFET switches instead of relays—eliminating sparks for safer operation.
  • Delayed Alarm Output: Triggers after 12 seconds of low voltage to avoid false alarms; ideal for use with buzzers, LEDs, or relays (max 50 mA).
